The Panzer III H version produced between October 1940 and April 1941, 308 copies.
Reinforced armour with bolt-on 20 mm plates on the front and rear, new Panzer IV gearbox, simpler ZF SSG 77 Aphon with six forward gears and one reverse, track widened from 38 to 40 cm and new sprockets and tensioning wheels.
Armament:

- 2 machine gun MG-34
