Manley LFG3D215- 1/600 USS Forest Rose

3D printed models representing the Union gunboat USS Forest Rose.  She served as a Union tinclad gunboat on the Mississippi and its tributaries, protecting supply lines and supporting river operations. She fought off repeated Confederate cavalry attacks while escorting transports and guarding towns such as Waterproof, Louisiana. In February 1864 she famously repelled a much larger Confederate force, preventing the capture of Union troops ashore. Forest Rose remained on patrol until the war’s end, helping secure Federal control of the Western rivers.
