The Panzer IV Ausf. G (Sd.Kfz. 161) was a WW2 German medium tank produced between March 1942 and June 1943 . It transitioned the Panzer IV 
from a close-support role to a primary anti-tank platform, armed with the potent 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/43 (and later L/48) gun.
