The B1 tank is a French heavy battle tank, designed in the interwar period and used at the start of World War II. A very advanced design for the time, the B tanks nevertheless proved to be quite unsuitable for the rapid operations of the Battle of France in May-June 1940.

Its design began in the 1920s, with several prototypes. The Renault model was chosen in 1929 but production did not begin until 1934.

Armament:

  • 1 ABS 1929 75 mm cannon in casemate (74 shells)
  • 47 mm short SA34 cannon APX1 turret (50 shells)
  • 47mm long SA35 cannon APX1-A turret (50 shells)
  • 3 MAC 31 7.5 mm machine guns (5,250 rounds) (1 coaxial at 47mm, 1 under 75mm and 1 stored for AA)

Features include:
2 hulls: standard hull, or an improved version
4 turrets, APX-1 diascope chrétien open and close, APX-1A episcope open or close
2 optional stowages

The model is in 1/56 scale (28mm). UNPAINTED RESIN MODEL
