This version of the M3 Lee was produced from July 1941 onwards, and used by the American army from November 1942 onwards during Operation Torch. The British received the first in November 1941. The Russians received their first version in early 1942.
The differences with the mid prod version are the engine exhaust system, The M3 long barrel gun, the addition of ventilation on the turret and hull, The removal of the side doors, but a vision hatch is retained on the right, the option to use T41 type tracks with solid wheels.
