The Pzkpfw B2 740(f) Flammenwerfer version produced between november 1941 and june 1942, 60 copies.

This flame thrower enabled the new B2 to “spit” nearly 200 jets of flaming liquid for 3 seconds at a distance of up to 45 m. In addition to the flame thrower, the B1 bis received a huge armored tank and a two-stroke engine to pump fuel and power the flame thrower.

The Flammwagen auf Panzerkampfwagen B-2 740 (f) was used in the USSR and the Balkans to fight partisans, but its most formidable adversaries were to be found at Arnhem during Operation Market Garden, where British and Polish paratroopers proved much tougher than lightly armed Yugoslav partisans.
